Fantastic knife ... For the theme alone it's a winner ... Fit and Finish was good, although I got an even grind on mine - happy to look the other way on this as a few sharpens will iron this out down the line. The bolsters are the highlight for me - i've heard they were based from traditional patterns, hope it's true. I wouldn't normally want blade etchings as a preferance, but here it sorta fits the knife. Performance wise it's very good - i do enjoy a Canoe, in fact i have been known to sit with a Guiness, Listening to the Dubliners and whittling away with mine. Lovely themed little box as well. Lovely potential gift to/for a non knife person. Great for a an edc beater or an annual St Patricks pullout. This is easily my favourite RR to date and i'm not sure that will change anytime soon. What a superb pocket knife, cant fault it. Beautifully made and quite unique, I would have been happy to pay twice the price for this cracker. First time buyer from HH and impressed by their products and service already, disspatched Monday arrived on Tuesday. Cant wait to place my next order.

This is a sharp and well constructed pretty pocket knife. It has rarely left my pocket since arriving and whilst I've not thrashed it the edge is holding well. As others have stated due to it's unique look and good construction it would make an excellent gift also. Will be buying a few more Rough Riders to see if the quality carries on. Recommended!

My first RR knife; certainly not my last. Arrived @19 hours after ordering. John says the picture doesn't do it justice and he's spot on - this is a very pretty knife. But more than that, it works. Scary sharp OTB, solid springs with no blade play at all, good heft and balance. AND IT'S STREET LEGAL! There is nothing wrong with this piece of kit. Well worth it.

Another lovely little knife from RR. Nice finish, came sharp and good springs. Slight blade play in my one but nothing to worry about, I have several RR knives which are all tight.

Mine came very sharp and the day after I placed the order. Very cool little carry knife, it is satisfying on many levels, particularly the build quality, feel and overall aesthetics I love mine too.

This is a lovely little penknife, robust, tactile and with a very good edge. Beautiful detailing for the money, fun and practical with bags of character. Nicely boxed so would make a pleasing gift. I LOVE IT.
