Bigger & of better quality than the bog-standard freebies but the price keeps going up & up. I got these for £9 & now they're £10 less then a week later. Not long ago they were a fiver. This is way more than inflation increases & is bcoming a blatant trend with many products.

These are my first set of stones, nice handy small stones, managed to put an edge on an old kitchen knife that's never been sharpened, I am new to sharpening si these are ideal for a beginner.
Small stones, but very effective and perfect if you're just starting to sharpen your knifes with the stone. I think that the coarse stone is only for ruined knives, on average blunt/dull edges I've found that a few minutes with the medium don't followed by several runs on the fine stone, can give a good edge. The plus side of being small size stones, is that you can carry them on a long trip (I would carry only the fine white stone)
I am amateur at best but am learning and these little babies are helping me with ! Big enough and sturdy enough for my big hands ... a great product !
Perfect hand stones no problems in getting a edge on a couple of knives .great value and as usual Heinnie Hayes delivery is first class
Just wanted to try these small stones and I am not disappointed.perfect size I have been able to get a good edge on my opinion .I let them soak in water over night and will probably keep them wet
