I can get three fingers around the handle, which makes this knife more comfortable and practical to use than the little keyring SAKs. If you're thinking that it might make a good first knife for a kid, be aware that it comes very sharp out the box.

This is a really well put together knife, great size as a fifth pocket knife and the red pick bone scales are some of the best I have seen. Blades came very sharp .
