ROUGH RIDER CLASSIC CARBON 11 WHITTLER FOLDER

Posted by Dale Tolley on 20th Sep 2024

Nice looking pocket knife well made nice half stop on both blades . Very sharp no need for any touch up really good to go. Blades very thin slight bend on main blade nothing to get hung up about really cuts well. I like it but I personally prefer a pocket knife with a bit more meat to it sort of thing.

Rough Rider Classic Carbon 11 whittling knife

Posted by Al on 24th Jun 2024

Starting off whittling and thought I'd get a cheap knife to start with. More than pleasantly surprised by how good this knife was. Arrived quickly and generally very happy to do business with this company. I would definitely recommend both this knife and this company. Will be purchasing again

Nice knife odd small blade choice

Posted by John on 25th Aug 2021

First off this an attractive small, slim, light knife perfect for every day carry. The main blade is sharp out of the box and a good shape for whittling. My main gripe with knife is the smaller blade. I have other whittlers which have small spear point blades which are useful for carving tight curves and small holes. This knife has a spey blade with a false edge on the spine. The lack of point restricts its use in carving and the false edge is downright painful if put you thumb on it to control the blade. Great non threatening edc knife but don''t buy it for whittling.

    Miniscule but more than enough

Posted by Barnes Shelley on 12th Aug 2021

Brilliantly light and pocketable with a great main blade length that allows a lot of fine control hence the 'whittler' name. Super sharp out of the box with good build tolerances, nice materials and a quality finish. Two minor gripes would be the shield fitment (but it's so small it's not surprising it's a bit off on something that's not hand made) and the fact the secondary blade is a bit hard to open as the thumbnail divot is so close to the body. For the money, an easy sell.

    Good little Whittler.

Posted by Craig on 6th Aug 2021

Usual good support from HH. The knife came soaked in oil and sharp. Both blades are where bent but fit well when closed. The smaller blade has a deep nail knick that you can see daylight through. I brought this to use and it is a good little whittler. HH have been contacted about the bent blades and have offered me a refund or exchange however I have chosen to keep the knife as the bent blades don’t seem to stop this knife from whittling or carving.

    Smaller than expected

Posted by David Partridge on 31st Jul 2021

Very well presented, and sharp straight out the box. Much smaller than I expected, But I'm pretty happy with it. Good build quality and nicely styled.
