It's a Bowie knife but it's only the size of your palm! The Rough Rider Cajun Bowie Mini is far from a novelty, however. It has the steel and the quality to be a fully functioning tool.
The Bowie blade is made from mirror polished 440 stainless steel with a full tang. The handle is of coloured smooth bone with a nickel silver guard, pins, bolsters and pommel.
This is a small knife - look at our photos of it "in hand".

I bought this because it seemed so cute - like a kitten acting like a lion. It has, however distinct pluses. Despite the bad "Made in China" vibe, it is beautifully made with good steel, and for its tiny size the right balance of blade to teeny handle. I use mine - very respectfully - it's well sharp! - as a letter opener and a distinctly non genteel fruit k nife. It loses its edge slightly every time, but can be instantly restored to razor sharp with a couple of gentle swipes with a honing steel. But do NOT give it to a child! It bites! I knocked off a star because it really needs a sheath for safety.
How are these made at this price. Perfect little bowie. A slip sheath took minutes to make you cant expect one included at this price.
Very well made just as good as the larger one nice finish and will fit nicely in my display cabinet only wish it a came with a leather sheath that’s why I only gave four stars
