The Rough Rider Bow Trapper Large is an exceptionally well made knife in a choice of red or black synthetic. The large, curved handles fill the hand nicely and allow for controlled, precise use.
The bolsters are nickel silver whilst the liners and pins are brass which provide a handsome accent to the knife. The red version features a black trim and the black version a red trim...a nice touch for a quality folder.

Good looking little penknife , was expecting it to be “ large “ as the name suggests but still a looker . Rough Rider are a decent make but have a long way to go to catch the likes of Buck for instance. Not totally practice but a nice addition to my collection. Top service from Hennie as always .
Love the black against red and love the fit on it a quality budget pice, user ? maybe not , but defo a keeper
This is the first knife from @roughryderknives that I would strongly advise people NOT to buy. It’s a lovely-looking knife and the ergonomics are great… HOWEVER…there is no stop-pin to prevent the blade edge hitting the inside of the backspring. Also, the shape of the ricasso suggests there was never any intention to have a”kick” that would hold the blade away from the backspring. So, the knife arrived with a chipped blade. I could grind the chip out, but it would just happen again…. and again…. It’s a real shame because in all other respects this knife is a winner.
