The Rough Rider Blue Mule Sunfish is an extremely chunky, solid knife but retains the feeling of a traditional folding penknife. The blades are both under three inches and non-locking so the knife is classed as a good UK carry option. The blue G10 handle scales, nickel silver bolsters and brass liners also make for a very attractive piece. And at this price with this quality is a serious bargain!

Been in two minds about this one for a while, but I thought why not buy it, cheap enough price, & I'm very glad I did, first thought was a standard two blade pen knife, but one on steroids. As a description, that really does fit, but make no mistake, it's a very good pocket knife. Due to it's size, it's easy to grip, work with, & isn't what I'd call heavy in shirt pocket. The scales are better than I thought as well, I imagined they'd be cheapo things, actually did plan originally on changing them, but now I'm not, as it's not necessary. I tend to buy edc knives for actual use in my line of work in warehouses, not just as things to throw in a cabinet to look at. As with my other purchases, this has fitted that role very well, it's also retained it's sharpness, solid knife, buy one NOW, you won't regret it!
Described by Rough Rider as a work knife. Should get you through a day's work. Blades come sharp from the box, and strong backspring s should provide a measure of safety.
Got the full collection now and they are awesome thanks RR and HH
Some time ago I bought a Marbles white bone Sunfish, and it was awful. Since then I wanted to have a proper Sunfish knife. I saw RR Blue Mule and thought that it might be the thing. Oh, I was terribly wrong! Turned out, that it is actually THE SAME model as of Marbles' (I know, both brands have one owner) with THE SAME flaws: dirty, hard to open, main blade has wraps and dents on the cutting edge, as like it was hitting something, in exactly the same spot as Marbles branded model, small blade just wobbles in closed position making ridiculous *clank-clank* noises. Terrible, just terrible! I also have RR white bone Elephant Toenail and that is a decent model. After such experience, I expected RR Sunfish to be of the same quality... What a pity that they used the same Marbles' model and made it at the same low-skilled factory, because it seems that most of other RR knives are made by much more qualified manufacturer.
A working knife, plain and simple. Pretty sharp right out of the box, but nothing a few strokes on the ceramic rods couldn't improve. STRONG spring, just what you want from a tool and no blade play, whatsoever. For less than 18 quid a nice and substantial EDC to slip into your pocket.
It's a beast and not one to open if you value your nails, action is a bit on the stiff side, hopefully it'll wear in with time and WD40. Blade is scary sharp so extra care is needed :) Nice big, chunky knife
Beautiful knife,great value
Looks good, heavy in the hand and a strong spring. Great value and arrived from Hennie the day after order. Really pleased.
