Rosecraft Obed Trapper
Superb knife, especially for the money. Likeany of us I have plenty of knives so have a number to compare this with, both more expensive and of similar price point. I also happened to buy a Boker Rangebuster (Damascus/snakewood) a week before this purchase. There's no contest. While the Boker looks the part it feels so very cheap compared to the Rosecraft Trapper. The Trapper feels incredibly high quality and I am so I pressed by the quality at this price, it really is superb. Not had much use yet but I did use it recently for some tasks when skinning a deer and preparing the skin for a buckskin. Very sharp, comfortable to use, and such a solid action etc. A pleasure to use... Where the Boker will likely sit in a drawer looking pretty but only get taken out rarely, the Trapper will be with me and awful lot more!! I'd recommend this, and I am already looking at other Rosecraft products. Seriously impressed.
