Description

The Loosahatchie is the archetypal traditional penknife. Add to that off the chart quality and you have a knife that will be with you and the generations to come.

The RoseCraft Blades Loosahatchie Jack features a 7.2cm (2.875″) D2 Clip Point blade that is 2.7mm thick. It has a brushed satin finish and a half stop. This exceptional one-bladed traditional slip joint features brushed steel bolsters, steel liners, and a steel RoseBud Shield. The scales are Red Sandalwood. Design by Andy Armstrong.

The blade snaps open and closed with a reassuring crispness which is evidence of the exceptional manufacture.

    The RoseCraft Blades Loosahatchie Jack in Red Sandalwood is a beautifully made traditional pocket knife. The red sandalwood handle looks elegant and feels great in hand. The blade has a fine satin finish, a long pull for easy opening, strong half-stop and good walk and talk. The Loosahatchie offers excellent edge retention (best D2 steel). Its full flat grind ensures clean slicing performance, making it ideal for precise everyday cutting tasks.

    A good size traditional Barlow design, well made and well priced. Delivery was exceptionally quick. Another one for daily carry, just running out of days.
