Description

The Real Steel Yak knife, crafted by the RSK team, is designed for both strength and convenience, making it an ideal tool for bushcraft environments. Featuring a sturdy 94mm/3.70" Nessmuk blade with a 3.5mm/0.138" thickness, made from proven 14C28N steel, the Yak ensures a reinforced tip for added strength during cutting and piercing tasks. The handle's PVD-treated frame and hardware provide superior rust resistance, while the durable G10 or Micarta scales offer a comfortable, secure grip even in harsh conditions.

Built with large, through-hole screws, the Yak simplifies maintenance and enhances screw durability—key elements in demanding outdoor scenarios. Its thumb stud and reversible deep carry pocket clip make the knife easy to use for both left- and right-handed users. Additionally, the handle features a discreet lanyard hole at the base for easy attachment to cords.

    Big beefy beautiful budget bruiser!

Posted by Gilmour Dickson on 26th Jul 2025

I bought this as I fancied a scandi ground pocket knife and I do quite like big knives and I don't have to worry about ridiculous carry laws. I am impressed. Beautiful blade and the micarta is very well done. It is a knife that I immediately gelled with and for the price it is excellent value. For a hard use, comfortable outdoor folder I would highly recommend it.
