    I got this as a replacement work knife of my byrd tern . As the tern has basically worn out after 2.5 years of hard use .The solis seems very well built with a good lock up (for a slip joint ) and is very positive .lovely blade shape and steel . Deep carry and light .it really does tick a lot of boxes . With one negative ,and that's ergonomics it doesn't sit really well in the hand .its not bad ,it's just not great - like a spyderco is . That aside I'm very please with it so far and love the red g10 .

    arrived pretty sharp i still sharpened it a bit more it will slice cig papers, very thin blade behind the edge so quite easy to get a razor edge on it this does wear off quick if you slice a few boxes but only takes a minute to get it sharp again on a waterstone i used 6000 grit very light and flat so goes unnoticed in any pocket the only thing wrong with it is the position of the lanyard hole but i dont feel it needs a lanyard anyway its a fairly light duty knife and the red handle is easier to see when i put it down somewhere in work

    Another great budget collaboration, between Real Steel and Heinnie Haynes. Lightweight, practical and a good companion to the Luna. Exemplary service from HH, once again.

    The same fast delivery for the Solis, it's slim light sharp and firm to open, I found the belt clip could have had a better finish. Gentlemanly and modern.
