The Real Barlow RB-3 is a modern, classic-inspired folding knife from the Real Barlow family series, perfect for daily carry. The clip point blade is made of durable 12C27 stainless steel. The hollow grind ensures a sharp edge for slicing and precise cutting. The thumb nail and slipjoint mechanism provides a secure open and close action. Much like others in the Barlow collection, this folder is non-locking and sub 3" making it suited to UK carry.
The handle is constructed from stainless steel with an ultra-thin integral spine for added strength while maintaining a lightweight profile and a seamless design. The front half of the handle mimics a bolster with a polished finish, while the rear half has a matte finish, providing both a secure grip and a visually striking contrast. It's lightweight, and slim with a 12C27 stainless steel 2.83" clip point blade and stainless steel handles. A lovely blend of classic styling with modern materials and a secure, non-locking, nail-nick opening design. It's a striking, classy looking piece. This will do well with any camping/glamping chores. A really good bit of kit from Real Steel.
The bang for buck ratio you get with this knife is excellent. The 12C27 steel blade is very thin and slicey behind the edge. 12C27 is still a very good stainless steel and it's backed by a very good spring and a solid body. While it's cheap in price, you're getting a good quality knife. Another UK EDC knife in my regular rotation.
