LARK
Superb, oozes quality - it's a QSP !. 14C28N holds an edge on the push cut really well, this due to it's excellent toughness and QSP's wise choice of hardness. Also in the case of this knife it's also due to a minimal behind edge thickness, excellent edge geometry/stability. This morning I did 140 push cuts in hard beech - crossgrain, using a fair amount of force. There was very minimal affect on the edge, no rolling or chipping, checked with torch and 20x loupe, still shaving arm hair. After a five minute strop on three and one micron DMT paste it was hair popping, when a fine hair was slowly presented to the edge it separated on contact and fell - indicative of a .05 micron edge. You really can't go wrong with 14C the way QSP do it, and on this knife it shines with it's edge geometry - by the way, my edge angle is 32° inclusive. BUY ! AL.
