The Prometheus Raider Field Short Canvas+ is based on the popular Raider Pant and dialed for DIYers, craftsman, garage-cavers, ranch to range, tool users, and those who live in shorts for as much of the year as they can.

These are rugged, durable, versatile and expertly stitched in the USA with small batch production. Feature rich, plain front, and made with a hearty 11oz, cotton canvas with a touch of Spandex for extra freedom of movement. With many considerations for today’s self reliant user and the EDC tribe, there are ample pockets without creating a cluttered or bulky design.

Made with custom woven, 11oz cotton canvas with 2% Spandex for a touch of extra movement. The build quality starts with the finest in materials, custom made to the Prometheus spec. Cotton canvas is not thermoplastic and will not melt. It does not build up static electricity, which is important in workshop environments, especially around combustible gases and liquids. Cotton canvas is also absorbent and has a high heat conductivity making it more comfortable in warm to hot workshop conditions. 

Not only are these shorts purpose driven in design, they also feature a long standing PDW tradition of carefully considered details to suit the discriminating user who is well versed in EDC. From the dedicated EDC tool pockets, to the custom made Delta-ring clip points, accessory welt pocket for smartphones, and more, the Raider Short covers the core and all in a clean, uncluttered appearance.

These shorts represent some of the last bastions of expertly made, American garment manufacturing. Made in small production batches, with industrial grade triple needle stitching, ample bar-tacks for extra durable reinforcements, and also a very high level of refinement and tolerances that have even impressed custom suit tailors.
