    Compact and robust

Posted by Phil on 18th Aug 2025

This isn't a direct replacement for the old WalletSafe 100 (a superb product (with one issue) that unfortunately is no longer manufactured). This wallets is slightly smaller, has one note slot not two, and has a mesh cover for the id card slot rather than the see through plastic of the wallet safe (which always eventually failed that being the issue with the WS100). The ring for a chain is there if you want to fix it to something. The mesh on the ID is much more noticable than the photo suggests and will probably mean that you have to take the ID out if anyone wants to look at it. The big downside is the RF safety - there (so far as I can tell) is no pocket that isn't RFID safe - a bit of a pain if you have an access card and used to just hold your wallet up to the scanner. A perfect wallet would have RFID safety for the items 'inside' and a non-safe outer pocket if you wanted a scanner to read the RF card without having to open your wallet and take the card out. Pros: compact, takes 5 cards (plus Id slot) Cons: no external rf permitting slot for access/key cards Overall I am happy with the purchase.
