Description

The Nextorch P86 Flashlight and Electronic Whistle really is the tool you don't want to leave at home! With a 1600 lumen beam and a 120 decibel whistle both activated at the touch of a button this is THE tool to both attract attention in an emergency rescue scenario and deter unwanted attention.

This is one tough device. Made from aircraft grade aluminium with a nano-ceramic, crenulated bezel it is pretty much indestructible.

It is charged via a hassle free type C USB which charges the 18650 lithium battery which can also be charged externally so you always have a battery ready to go.

It has an impressive runtime on full power and offers two lower levels when necessary.

great light output but POOR DESIGN

Posted by John Knights on 20th Jan 2025

I bought this for my daughter for when she walks to and from the bus in the dark hours, she already has a Nextorch E51C but I thought the whistle would give her an extra level of security. Unfortunately the push to go switch that sets of the whistle easily gets pushed if you put it in a bag or pocket, causing several "neglegent whistles" on the bus or in the office. She has lost faith in the torch and already retired the torch to her power cut kit, great idea, dissapointing execution, may be alright if you only use it when dog walking and don't need to store the torch about your person.
