Based in the Portland Works, Sheffield where over 100 years ago Harry Brearley developed stainless steel for cutlery use, Michael May uses centuries old craftsmanship and knife patterns to create traditional pocket knives. By owning a Michael May knife you can claim your own little piece of history and be at the forefront of a reinvigorated and rich cutlery making past.
The Michael May Barlow Ebony & Turquoise Filework is a stunning little folder in the traditional Barlow style. It has a blade made from O1 carbon steel with a thumb nick for opening and a small file worked section near the pivot. The impressive handle is made from Ebony wood scales with a Turquoise and brass bolster. The back spine again features beautiful decorative file work.
The blade is non-locking and under three inches long so is legal to carry within the UK.
