Medford's homage to the great Marine Raiders of World War II. For those of you who love the TBF (Too Big to Fail) Breakdown knife, but find the size a little too daunting, The Raider is just for you!
This slightly smaller version of the TBF maintains all the stand-out attributes of the larger knife, with an easy-to-handle size. It has the same radical combo grind using flat grinding on the tip for strength and hollow grinding on the main edge for razor sharp use over the years. The back spine serrations are a double row and razor sharp perfect for taking down a tree. The hardened S35VN hilt is a built-in crowbar and unbelievably tough. Finally, the through-tang knife completely disassembles for thorough cleaning with a single Allen wrench.

Add to BasketBeen looking at Medford stuff for ages, umming & ahhing about whether to finally take the plunge. I originally thought I‘d go for a Preatorian, until I saw the Raider... This is a beast of a tool, seems totally indestructible, and the fit & finish are amazing. Comes with a Kydex sheath, would probably prefer a leather one for a knife Like this, but it’s perfectly practical, and fits the knife perfectly. It’s certainly not cheap, but you do get what you pay for....!
