The MecArmy X3S whacks out a huge 130 lumens in a tiny flashlight, not much larger than your little finger!

It is crafted from copper with a real feeling of solidity in your hand. This tiny torch is just 4.6cm long - about the same size as the blade on your car key. It is activated by a twist of the head. As for batteries, you can forget about buying those. It's supplied with a 10180 Li-ion cell which can be recharged in situ.

This lamp is rechargeable via a micro-USB socket, located in the side of the head when it's unscrewed from the body but remains attached so will not be lost. It has two brightness levels - a stated 130 ANSI Lumens on High mode, for 30 minutes, or 12 lumens on Low mode, for a quoted six hours. It's supplied with two spare o ring seals, a USB cable and a keyring. This version has a very attractive copper body.

    • CREE XP-G2 LED

    • Maximum output of 130 ANSI lumens

    • Rechargeable from any USB port

    • Charges in just an hour

    • Uses a built-in 10180 lithium ion battery

    Great keychain light

Posted by Slick on 1st Jun 2018

This replaced a 3 button cell light on my keychain. It's perhaps half as long again, but feels no bigger in the pocket, but wow, what a difference! In full power mode, it's as bright as my mini Maglite LED, and lasts just as long. In low power, it's often bright enough, and lasts for hours! I love the copper finish... a couple of moths in and it's startung to patina up well. I think I'd have preferred brass, but that wasn't in stock at the time... maybe a second one?

    Works well

Posted by ruby on 9th Jan 2018

Been using this for about two months. So far the quality has been excellent. I carry it on my key chain daily so it gets a fair amount of abuse. The finish is showing a little wear already but not unexpected. The dual brightness is a nice battery saving feature. I use it for short periods of time, i.e. to find the item I dropped, provide a light to walk, etc. so I have been able to just charge it once a month. Sure beats fumbling with the small button cell batteries. This is the brightest flashlight I have been able to find at this size.

    Not worth it

Posted by Charlie on 12th Sep 2017

Picked this up hoping for a nicer beam profile than some of the floody 10180 lights and it definitely has that, but nothing else about it works properly. The threads on the head are nowhere near long enough. It's impossible to loosen the head to the point where the light doesn't sometimes turn on in a pocket unless I take the head off to reveal the charging port, which means the charging port gets full of pocket fluff. The charging port is also set too deeply into the body of the light, and most micro-usb cables fail to engage properly and pop out when not being held in.
