The Lion Steel Jack is the new contemporary traditional folding knife made by those Italian master crafts people. It is a classically styled EDC folding knife with a sub three inch cutting edge so is legal to carry in the UK at the owners discretion.

This version has a green canvas micarta handle which is not only incredibly tough but also improves with age and use. The clip point blade is made from M390 stainless steel, one of the best money can buy. There is also a screwdriver, a bottle opener attachment and a corkscrew.

The Titanium bolsters and liners add to the overall quality and bang up to date tough materials. Plus it serves to reduce the weight and bulk so can be easily carried in the pocket or pack.

Great construction, very sharp and ideal to replace my similar SAK. It is more much more robust and I love the grip provided by the micarta. Only down side is it has no lanyard hole etc so cannot be hung on anything you will need a small sheath.

The most expensive knife I have ever bought but I am a sucker for an EDC with a corkscrew. The blade sneaks under 3 inches, it looks a bit aggressive but could also double in look as a steak knife. I don’t feel uncomfortable with it in my pocket. I buy knives to use and i have used this. The corkscrew is short but strong and works fine. Bottle opener is fine and a bit of screw driver end. I have only used that once. The knife is sharp out the box and fine. I tried a little bit of detailed carving and it’s long but good. Easy to nic yourself on it. The knife isn’t stiffly held open. It’s ok but it’s a little soft and that’s a slight disadvantage. The knife has a wonderful fill a mix between the contemporary and traditional values. ITS A VERY NICE KNIFE.

Good little knive with everything you'd need for everyday cary. Need to cut something? Done. Going to the park after work with a bottle of wine (with cork) to meed friends? Not an issue. Time to open a bottle of cool delicious beer in your relax time? Absolute no issue. Want to put it in yuor pocket and forget about it (in the UK)? Absolutely fine.
