What an EDC of a knife, awesome design
OK, I bought this beaut last year, and was after a specific knife in my mind’s eye, and this did not fit it, and so I returned it without ever even giving it a try (yes, stupid me!),, but it did leave a memorable image in my head. So, this year I decided to grab the aluminium version, and went for the green for a change 24 hours later, as per usual from HH, would never expect anything less from them ;-). It arrived and boy oh boy, it’s way more lush in the flesh, and I actually prefer the aluminium version more. The walk and talk is great, a midway confident click, and another in the open position. It does inspire you with confidence that it’s not going to snap back and bite you without warning. It does however a minimal amount of jimping, that can barely be used to put pressure on, but the confident click in the open position is good enough. Razor sharp out of the box, not the sharpest, but pretty darned sharp. I absolutely love the ingenious hidden pocket clip, I assumed it would be a novelty that wore off, but no, it’s a really cool design, and the button just adds to it’s fidget goodness :). For the price, this is a no brainer, my only fear is that the blade is 8cm, and the cutting edge is 7.6, so do try and remember the 1988 Criminal Act section 138, sub-section 3 (thank you to @UKLegalCarryKnives for that :)) that states the part about the sharp end and not the entire blade length is what counts, might save you some _time_ if you’ll excuse the pun! So is it worth it? Heck yeah, absolutely awesome, I’m actually tempted to get another one, and I have never thought that about a knife before :)
