Add to BasketThe original Light My Fire Maya Sticks are an excellent product, made from really good fatwood, a great thing to throw in your pack. LMF now sell these sticks individually, and they do not represent the same great value. The replacement LMF Tinder Sticks are really not the same, they're dry, with nothing like the same amount of resin. They'll still burn, but if you've tried the original product, you'll be disappointed by its replacement.

Product: An excellent addition to any bushcraft / survival kit, needs to be feathered for lighting with a firesteel or burns extremely well without feathering when ignited with a naked flame. One of the most universal items to have in your kit. Shave to get fine tinder dust, feather, cut or use whole. I top quality, full of resin & catches a flame really easily.
Awesome for the price! Cut into 1 inch pieces will fit in a very small survival kit and work better than firelighters that seem to decompose over time. Great as a long term 'leave in the kit' solution to fire-starting in difficult conditions, and cheap enough to use routinely if feeling lazy!
These are just great! Usefully usable either whole as they are, broken or cut up into smaller pieces, shaved for fine tinder, or feathered as firesticks for tinder. The Maya wood will get your fire going no matter what the weather or how bad the conditions. And they smell lovely too!
