Overall, not the upgrade I expected.
The Leatherman Arc is a well-made, solid tool with attractive bronze scales, but the blade has been a real let-down. I bought it as an upgrade to my old Wave, mainly for the Magnacut blade, yet out of the box it was essentially blunt. Even after stropping, it still struggles to cut cleanly. I’ll need to put a proper edge on it with diamond stones, which is disappointing for a brand-new, premium tool. While I’ll keep it for the updated features, the blade won’t see much use until I re-work it myself. Overall, not the upgrade I expected and poor value for the price.
