The KMFS Convex Adaptor is a neatly engineered addition for those looking to move beyond flat bevels and introduce a subtle convex edge to their sharpening routine. Designed by KMFS, it integrates cleanly with the Rival Stealth, Rival MOA21 and Vantaedge systems.
Machined from solid Ergal 7075 T651 aluminium and finished with clear anodising, it’s both lightweight and impressively durable. Stainless steel pins and springs keep everything operating smoothly, with a reassuringly precise feel in use.
Fitted in place of a standard holder, the adaptor creates a controlled convex edge, with a deviation of around ±2° across the full stroke of the stone. It accepts all KMFS stones and most 160mm stones, making it a practical upgrade for those refining their sharpening setup rather than replacing it entirely.
