The Kizer Azo Towser is a distinctive, unique folding knife designed to be a functional and attractive working knife. If there were ever such thing as a folding Santoku kitchen knife, it would look a lot like this. If you're cutting against a surface, the angle of the edge and the design of the handle keeps the fingers away from the table. Be it tape, food, packaging, or whatever you encounter, the Towser K will make your cutting job easy and comfortable.
The blade is made from 154CM stainless steel mounted on a ball bearing pivot for smooth engagement. The handle is blue Richlite which is an eco friendly paper-based fiber composite. It is incredibly strong and resistant to wear. A black coated pocket clip is mounted onto one scale next to the lanyard hole.

This kizer has one of the sweetest actions ever! Honestly the action on this knife is up with the highest priced knives out there. It is like glass on ice as for the rest of the piece you’re going to be overwhelmed with how beautiful it is. The blade centring is bang on the blade grind is likewise. As for the grips they’re no where near ( as some have suggested) cheap feeling they feel beautiful in hand solid and warm to the touch how people can complain about these grips is a total joke. The only way that you would find a problem with these grips is if you have only ever had wood grips or you have a problem with the nerves in your hand ! This is yet another example of excellent value for money from a company that is smashing their way through the market. Honestly I have the micarta version and i will be honest the micarta is warmer to the touch but theses are just as comfortable. Just pull the trigger and find out for yourself!
I am fond of the shape of the blade swell as the grind and stature of the blade. However I was not at all impressed buy the feel of the handle and the construction of the locking system.which feels flimsy and the scales feel cheap. It was disappointing as it drew away my fondness of the blade itself. I had expected a lot more.
I have collected a few knives both cheap and expensive. This knife has a very high quality feel. It’s solid large yet not too heavy. The handle is planar made of paper micarta which feels very swish. The lock up mechanism is solid but easily accesible. The blade shape is just right, more slicey than it looks but it can take on heavier tasks. It is ultra sharp out the box, The feel of the locking mechanism when it opens and shuts is very satisfying and sounds just right, It handles well. The only downside is the pocket clip. It is welll made but stiff and I found it a fiddle to switch sides with it owing to a spacer rotating rather than bitting into the thread. However patience will allow you to complete the task. One of the best value knives I own.
