    excellent

I've had this knife for at least five years, it has an excellent handle and the blade takes and retains an excellent edge. The sheath is well made and holds the knife very securely. The overall craftsmanship of knife and sheath is excellent.

    Not good

Received the wrong knife 1st time round sent back and had to wait for a refund but got a full refund in the end. Tried again got the right knife but it was blunt wouldn't even shave the hairs of my arm the edge of the blade has dents in it and looked to have been used all in all not a good experience for what is supposed to be a quality product can't even find anybody who will sharpen the knife as most people who advertise expert knife sharpening won't touch hunting knifes only kitchen ware handle on the knife is dry and poorly finished all in all a bit of a nightmare for what is a all but £100 knife I will not be doing it again Not a happy customer :-( Why have I not returned it can't be bothered waiting a week for the refund to come through as that's how long the last one took plus the expense of sending back is ridiculous through Royal Mail these days and you have to tell them what's in the package and how much it's worth so will keep and keep looking for someone to put a proper edge on it.

I got this knife a few months back and have put it through its paces in the Wicklow hills (hunting, fishing, carving, camp duty, sparking ferro rods). I think i'ts the best knife I have ever had, definitely the sharpest.

    Beautiful & Reliable

Other than exemplary design the sharpness on the Wolverine is impressive. In direct comparison with the Helle Fire which is also excellent this knife comes out on top for durability and edge retention. I suspect there may be even better knives out there in it's price range as it is expensive hence the 4 stars, nonetheless I have no regrets.

    Perfect design

The wolverine is a brilliantly made and designed Puukko style knife. the build finish is spot on and easily on par with my custom knives. the handle is beautifly made and finished and feels solid and comfortable in any grip. the blade is very well shaped for any number of bushcraft tasks. the edge is extreamly sharp and holds it edge much longer than many other bushcraft knives. I've used this knife for everything from battoning through hardwood logs to trimming saplings and carving spoons
