Description

The Joker Nomad - Micarta 12.7cm Bushcraft and Survival knife is a large, very practical outdoors knife.

With a full-tang blade made of Böhler N695 stainless steel with a blade length of 12.7cm, and a thickness of 5mm. The canvas micarta-clad handle is 12.5cm long, enabling a strong grip. With sturdy jimping on the back of the blade, this knife will be your reliable go-to companion. Available in a choice of green or black canvas micarta handle, each set off very well with elegant red liners.

The knife is accompanied by a top quality leather sheath in black, with high-resistance riveted stitching. The two-position belt and "dangler" belt loop allows this sheath to be positioned so that it is always to hand.

    Not a true convex

    I will start by saying this is an absolute beast of a knife for the price, the only reason it doesn't get 5 stars it's it claims to have a convex grind. Mine at least is definitely not a convex grind, I've put a steel ruler to it and the only real convex I ccan see is the at the bevel. I would still recommend this knife however as it's a true workhorse and the leather sheath is really well made. Beware though as they only offer a right hand sheath so I'll be making a kydex sheath so I can use it comfortably.

    Knife for life!

    This Joker is no joke! This thing is a work horse and can take a beating and keep going. Fit and finish is spot on. Handle is perfectly crafted with no hot spots or overlap and feels great in hand. Blade is excellent, with that convex grind, it doesn’t even flinch when processing wood and it holds its edge really well. This is a proper survival knife, you won’t find better for the money. Highly recommended, a proper knife for life!

    Used a bk2 for a long time but its a mahoosive great lump of a knife, so sold it, but that left me without a good wood processing tool.. I had never heard of joker knives but the specs seemed similar to the Becker but a lot lighter and with better steel and the bonus of full convex edge.. It came paper cutting sharp but still benefitted from a good stropping to get to scary levels...The supplied sheath is extremely good leather and although simple/ traditional in design does what it's supposed to..I wish Heinnies carried the optional kydex and the leather one with the firesteel loop, but hey ..thats the UK for you..?? I have used the joker for wood preparation and the edge is holding up well...Overall worth every penny..
