Bowie
This is an update on my last review as I had only just received it when I wrote that one. I have now had time to properly assess this excellent knife, so I may be have some comments that may help any prospective buyers. It is an excellent knife, everything about it is super, super sharp and holds it's edge, easy on the hand with the well designed handle. There is nothing about it that I could improve on, even it's price is very good for what you get for your hard earned cash, and if you are anything like me, I have to save to buy my knives, and/or make sacrifices to be able to afford them. I would rate this one as an easy 10, for value for money, materials and design. It is one of those knives, you know the ones I mean that when you have it in your hand you are reluctant to sheath it and put it down. I have big very powerful hands and find some knives too small, but this one is spot on, not too small or too large. I have Harsey knives that are £600 a pop and are comparable in satisfaction to hold. It is a full tang which I am of the opinion is vital for Bowie knives as they can take a hammering when chopping wood. Particularly in the jungles where there are some awesome trees and bush. I now have it honed to shaving sharp, and due to my years of background *****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************. So, this is not a superman knife but a very good knife for the price, and I thank the team at Hennies and Richard in particular for their help and friendly switched on service over the last few decades. I hope that this is a help to someone, and I always buy from Hennies they are streets ahead of their rivals.
