The clip point version has a bit more of a tactical feel whereas the drop point version (EK51) is probably more suited to camping / bushcraft tasks (and also has a shorter blade) The handle of the EK50 is quite short which is perfect for my relatively small hands but you may find the handle too small if you have large size hands.
