Excellent value! The heavy duty knife can take serious punishment! And the smaller blade is great for whittling and general camp chores. Very impressed
Purchased for my daughter as a first knife set, brilliant value . Strong knives ( have used hultafors knives in the past ). Great combo, great starter knives. Awesome service from HH.
Wow, I can't believe the price of this set! The knives are really well made with good n thick blades that can tackle all sorts of tasks - they come with a good edge straight from the packet too. I work in the coppice industry so I needed a set of solid knives that were cheap enough so that losing or breaking them wasn't going to a huge issue but they still needed to be of a decent quality. Both boxes checked! I find the double scabbard to be a great addition to the set as well. Really rate this set and would buy again if needed (in fact, may get a spare set; they're cheap enough...)
as for hh 12 out of ten .They,re customer service and delivery system is second to none I ordered another knife from another company over a week ago , and Im still wating for delivery HH delivered in three days including the week end first class . now for the knives they are ok but am very disappointed to find they are made in taiwan or china I have a collection of knives and to me taiwan ,chinese knives is as good as a collection of buckfast bottles , they are made under poor working conditions which is why hultafors hide where they come from. they know they would sell a lot less if they told you because goods from these companies are no held in high regard but many thanks to HH i,ll contine to buy from them in the future ,But Ill be careful where the come from before buyng.
For such little money you get two great Swedish made knives, good double pouch too.
I really only wanted one knife or the other and clever buying can result in the purchase of both knives for less than the price of the combo but after seeing the HD (and a lot of other knives out of stock) decided on this option. The package is actually quite neat and the two contrasting handles look good so in the end I am quite pleased in having the two knives together. Blade quality is good for the price and both were sharp out of the sheath. Good value for money but I thought slung in a jiffy bag was a bit chancy on the part of HH but arrived in good time.
