The design is brilliant but the quality isn’t
This vehicle medical kit is designed to carry the minimum amount of first aid supplies required to save someone’s life, it’s not large enough to carry anymore than that and is a lot smaller than you’d think. The bag should be mounted where it’s easily accessible and ideally behind either the driver or front seat passenger’s headrest. In reality that’s probably going to be inconvenient and you’ll want to put it somewhere else. In my case I situated it on the middle headrest in the back of our car. In that position it’s easily reached by either the driver or front seat passenger. All it takes to release the bag is undoing one plastic side buckle and a quick pull using one of the bag’s two red handles. The bag’s contents are accessed by pulling a strap on the top of the bag. *Please note that the bag is supplied without any medical supplies.* The design of the bag is brilliant and it allows speedy access to its contents. Unfortunately, the straps which secure it to a car headrest aren’t long enough to accommodate the larger styles of headrest found on some cars and vans. It’s fine on ours but I doubt it will fit some of the larger headrests. The material the bag is made from is quite thin and thread used by Helikon doesn’t inspire me with any confidence that the bag will last very long. Of course I may be wrong but somehow I doubt it. As always Hennie didn’t disappoint and dispatched my order with their usual efficiency. Thank you!
