A unique patent used in the M65 jacket is a pocket that can be detached and used as a separate fanny pack for documents or a phone. very good quality, plenty of large pockets, but be careful of the size chart,
A pocket for everything and space spare i'm almost organised first thing i did was fill them up but it weighed more than me lol sleeves are slightly long apart from that no issues after wearing it every day throughout winter, i got the helikon heavy fleece to go under it
I've been a long time fan of Helikon gear and I am very happy with this jacket overall. Generous sizing with plenty of room to layer up underneath, and the hood is actually usable and convenient instead of being a pain. I wear mine with the covert hoodie (as in the photos) or a grid fleece, seems very comfortable so far with room to gain a few kilos and have it still fit. Doesn't look too "tacticool" when you're out and about, but I suppose if you act like an operator you're gonna look like one to somebody... my only gripe is that it has no "handwarmer" side pockets but I bought it knowing full-well it didn't. I can't speak for the long-term durability yet but my Surplus-branded M65 has lasted for ages, and I don't see this being any worse.
