The Hardcore Hammers Raptor Axe is Hardcore's smaller axe, with the 4140 alloy steel head weighing in at 1.36kg (3lbs) on a choice of a stout 72cm (28″) or sturdy, longer 92cm (36") hickory shaft.

Finished with a polyurethane clear coat. The poly coat seals the open cells, repels water, and keeps the handle from shrinking, but is much easier to maintain. It's pretty much one and done, and doesn't attract dust and dirt like the oil does.
