Welcome to the world of the Fox Vulpis. A small penknife in an array of variants each one with the quality materials not usually found in a knife of this size and usefulness. Made in the heart of Italian knife making, Maniago, Fox chose the superior N690 stainless steel for the blades and made them all non-locking thus making them legal to carry within the UK.

This version uses an aluminium handle in a choice of colours and has two tools in addition to the stout little sheepsfoot blade. There's a can opener with screwdriver and a bottle opener with screwdriver. Pop one on your keys with the keyring attached and go about your day!

Fox Vulpis 3 aluminium folding knife.

Posted by Brian on 1st Aug 2024

This is a very neat high quality knife which will probably be compared with the Victorinox cadet which is bigger. I have not found the problems which the previous reviewers have suffered, The 2 screwdriver blades are very similar and perhaps a small Phillips could be used instead of one of them.

    Terrible quality, Broke in days

Posted by Tony on 21st Feb 2024

The good - nice size, weight, feel, and steel. The bad - very little resistance on main blade and within two days of being in my pocket completely lost all resistance (hadn't even used it!). It literally flops out. Gaps appeared between the liners, and the retaining pins can be pushed through. Add to that the keyring attachment stops the bottle opener fully opening if the tiny keyring is left on. Appalling quality. Avoid. Will be sending back.

Good Design Idea - Bad Real World EDC

    Posted by PJB75 on 8th Sep 2023

This knife has good design and decent blade steel. Unfortunately it suffers from an extremely weak backspring and fragile construction. Doesn’t really inspire confidence in using. Not likely to replace any old EDC favourites. Better sticking with something consistent and reliable from Victorinox.
