Wonderful little slipjoint
I bought this and the Livri at the same time. The Livri was very sharp otb, maybe the sharpest I've had, but this knife wasn't. There is one other review for this knife where the reviewer says more or less the same and says it was easily fixed. Personally I'm not sure about that. I would say it would be a challenge to get it properly sharp for anyone who isn't very practiced. Basically for three reasons, first it's fairly thick behind the edge, second, there's a slight recurve which is more noticeable than in the picture but most of all M390 steel is fairly hard and wear resistant stuff and I found it only forms a very tiny micro burr with very fine ceramic (or similar) and takes a while to strop off even tho it's tiny. Having said all that once it's properly sharp you can expect it to stay that way for quite some time which is brilliant. So anyway thanks to Heinnie because they originally sent me the wrong knife because of some mix up with Fox's numbering sysrem and Richard sorted it, thankyou. This is a wonderful little knife and for me these quality little slipjoints might be the way forward for me from now on. This one is absolutely worth the money if you're ok with sharpening harder steels. Thanks Heinnie, brilliant knife glad you stock it.
