The Fox Jupiter Damascus Titanium is a superb folding knife that builds on the foundations of its predecesors. This collection of knives have a unique opening mechanism that works by pressing a button and rotating the blade smoothly around the pivot.
The Jupiter introduces a secondary safety lock, that restricts the blade from moving in either an open or closed position, enabling the knife to handle heavier-duty tasks.
The blade is made of Hakkapella Damascus, made by Damasteel. The distinct damascus pattern are not just to catch the eye, it's very tough and resistant to chipping thanks to the many layers, combining two high quality steels and making the blade corrosion resistant.
The handle is PVD titanium with a vibrant timascus inlay. The shape includes a pronounced recess for the index finger and ample space for others, ensuring stability even with gloves on. For tasks requiring precision, the knife allows for an advanced grip, providing superior control over the cutting edge.
