To make a long story short, when Aaron Draplin made the very first Field Notes by hand as a holiday gift for friends, they looked pretty much like these notebooks. When they started the company, they had only one product: a 3-Pack of Kraft Memo Books with graph paper inside. These notebooks will likely always remain the heart of their product line.
The original 48-page notebooks are offered here in a mixed 3-pack, which includes graph, plain, and ruled paper. Each Original Kraft memo book measures 9 × 14 cm (3½" × 5½") and is bound by a rugged three-staple saddle-stitch process.
