The Fallkniven U2 has long been one of the most popular folding knives by Fallkniven.
The Fallkniven U2 Elmax is an evolution of the classic, now with a blade made of Swedish Elmax powder steel. Powder steel is very costly and difficult to work with, and requires advanced technology in combination with experienced knifemakers to produce a blade. Fallkniven have done just this and made a knife with a blade unparalelled in quality. The advantage of this steel lies in its outstanding strength and edge retention.
The slim handle consists of strong composite material, which makes the knife light and pleasant to carry. With blade grooves on either side, the U2 is completely symmetrical and is suitable for both right-handed and left-handed use.

Add to BasketI bought this to replace a more aggressive looking Benchmade knife as my EDC. I have great prior experience with Fallkniven's elmax fixed blades, so figured it would be a safe bet. And it was. It makes a great understated knife, good to use around non knife people. Very lightweight and easy to carry, lock is strong and sturdy, edge is clean and sharp as! Great edc knife, with a great blade steel, for a great price!
The handle material on this knife might just give some people a bit of a cheap nasty feel, but hold the horses people! It’s a very nicely done handle material, Right on to the main attention getting shiny part the blade ohh the blade might not be no 4” plus number but ohh is it perfectly done if you do invest in this excellent piece i bet you will spend at least 30 minutes just looking at the blades finish and perfectly done grind. Honestly I would grab it again if I didn’t get one it’s a little beauty in your pocket or should i say house collection AAA+
