The two-part handle works as a superbly-engineered set of tactical pliers. As well as having a supremely strong grip, this tool can cut thick wire, steel rods, cables, and used as a glass breaker thanks to the tungsten carbide insert placed at its end.
The sheath protects the cutting part while using the clamp safely, but it can also release the blade with a retention system that can be activated quickly and silently.
The sturdy sheath allows the Silente to be fastened on the thigh or rigged on MOLLE, integrated into the operator's equipment and taking up minimum space.
