    Perfect for everyday use

Posted by Grant on 19th Feb 2016

Received mine in recored breaking time, as always delivery within 48 hours. What can I say, if had mine now for over 4 months and I have been brutal with it - cut, chopped, batoned and pried and it's still as good as new. The coating takes abuse, the blade takes abuse and it's so easy to sharpen again. With the lifetime warranty if I ever have the need to use it I feel this is a knife for life, suits my needs and exceeds them.

    Great compact durable bushcraft knife

    Posted by silent1 on 2nd Dec 2012

Knife + sheath + the paracord woven into the sheath holes for belt carry weighs 185g which is light for a 3-4 inch fulltang knife. The sheath is great with solid retension. Mind you the blade is some what thin 2.8mm in the flat grinde area 3.2mm in the stock (under the coating). There you will need a hatchet or thicker blade for more hardcore batoning/spliting chores for campfires. I like the "carryability" of this knife the most. The ESEE 4 is a more one tool option but also 100g heavier and more bulky. Go with the ESEE 4 if you have lots of woodspliting in mind. The egde needed a lower angle for better carving - easily done.
