Description

The CRKT M16 series comes from a long line of military grade tools. Now you can conquer civilian tasks with this proven knife design platform made simple, tough, and affordable.

Designed by legendary knifemaker Kit Carson, the M16 collection has won recognition in multiple categories over its life and this latest iteration builds on strong foundations.

The blade is an EDP coated D2 carbon steel in a spear point shape. The IKBS™ ball bearing pivot deploys the blade smoothly and the Crossbar Lock makes it suited to left or right handed use. The handle is finished with Grivory scales that ensure a firm but comfortable grip.

    CKRT folder

Posted by Jez on 17th Sep 2025

An excellent knife for the money. Opening is silky smooth, rather like a Spartan knife than a CKRT. I opens very quietly and for forces people it would be excellent for taking out sentries as there is none of the usual click, that even Spartans have. Very sharp out of the box, remains to be seen how long it keeps that edge but I would guess that a bit of stropping on a regular basis would sort that out. Nice feel in the hand, very light and excellent for camp fire wood splits, which is what mine will probably be used for. Overall recommended.
