Designer Ryan Johnson has been honing his tactical tomahawk designs over the last 30 years and has earned a dedicated and loyal fan base, particularly among special forces troops.
His Kangee T-Hawks are shaped of single-piece steel with a curved handle and grip choils along the front for enhanced holding power. Full-length handle scales are checkered for added grip security, and can be removed for cleaning.
Molle equipped, form-fitting Kydex sheaths slip over the head and secure with a buckled strap.

Add to BasketThis is a great tactical style tomahawk. It chops and throws great and would no doubt be a great tool for any kind of "survival". It's really handy and the sheath and carry system is good too, if not a little plasticky. I re-handled mine with some ash and it looks like a Winkler but a fraction of the cost. Superb tool.
Have had the Kangee for just over a month now and i like it more each day. An extremely light and nimble feel. I love the 3 position grip and the notch at the bottom of the blade on the top grip for that tight close hold. THe Axe had itself is solid, blade isnt razor sharp out the box but this can be done and i think its sharp enough. Rear spike is needle sharp and enough to handle most work. Can handle wood/branch chopping and bark shaving for camping no problem. Embeds well in the tree with axe throwing and can handle breach jobs well enough. The handle is good an sturdy though for heavy work you are going to want gloves and strap the handle to avoid sweat and blistering. Down at the bottom of the handle is a really useful glass breaker/hammer and plenty of holes for paracord. Plastic sheath i didnt find was that great though you are getting a quality axe here designed by Ryan Johnson at RMJ Tactical for a great price so i can let the sheath slide. Its not terrible but clunky getting the axe in and out of. All in all a great, balanced hawk i think given all other factors. Would recommend and may order another. Would be great to see HH offer more RMJ Tactical products in future.

The kangee t-hawk is an absolute beast it has a good weight and feel to it and was sharp out the box. Becareful it's already me twice! It does all the wood processing I wanted it to, it's brilliant. You should get yourself one.
