Austin McGlaun of Columbus, Georgia, designed the CRKT Clever Girl with a black, powder coated upswept blade, this is a knife that is all about function. With tough injection moulded G10 handle scales it is supplied with black molle compatible sheath for multiple carry options.
In 2013, Ryan Johnson of RMJ Tactical, approached CRKT with the news that he had been working with a few veterans with varying degrees of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). To help work through their challenges, they have been designing and forging steel into custom tools. Drawing from their experience, they have been creating tools they'd always wanted.
CRKT cares deeply about returning veterans and saw a way to give back to the community that created them. These tools are designed by veterans, with 10% of the CRKT net profits of the program donated to the veterans' charity of choice.
Austin McGlaun's charity of choice for this tool is the Green Beret Foundation.
