The Condor Trelken is a remarkable fixed blade knife, designed by Walter Matthews. Inspired by a traditional knife from Chile. The name is inspired by the term “Trelkenentún”, which in the language of the tribe “Araucanos”, inhabitants of southern Chile, means “to remove the leather from an animal".
The blade is made from 420HC steel a raised carbon version of the steel. This stainless steel is tough, corrosion resistant and simple to sharpen. Each Trelken is finished with American Hickory handle scales - a resilient wood oft used for axe handles.
The Condor Trelken comes with a leather belt sheath. This sheath has a belt loop with enough room for belts up to 5.5 cm wide.
