Description

Designed by celebrated custom knife maker Andrew Demko, the Cold Steel Spartan is one of their most popular folding knives.

The Spartan's super-sharp blade is made from Japanese AUS10A Steel, and was designed to echo the aesthetics and cutting performance of the world famous Kukri. Its distinctive Kopis-inspired handle is precision injection molded out of Griv-Ex with heat treated steel liners, and this, in addition to Cold Steel's famous Tri-Ad lock, makes for a knife that is incredibly safe and secure.

The Spartan also features the patented Demko thumb plate, which can be used to open the knife like a conventional "one handed opener" or be snagged on the edge of a pocket during the draw stroke and opened with ease.

    The Spartan is another example of how good Cold Steel are. This is a hefty chunk of Aus10A steel. Extremely sharp. A beautifully shaped blade. The Kopis handle with it's grooves moulds itself around the hand. Together with the TriAd lock makes this very secure. Feels surprisingly light for the beast that it is. Well balanced. The Demko thumb plate makes it an easy one handed open and opening out of the pocket. Really impressive. It looks good too!! I Love it! Another for my CS collection. A big Cold Steel fan Also a huge Heinnie Haynes fan!.

    It's not as heavy as I thought it would be & I know some people think it's to large for a EDC but I'm happy to carry it,It has a large Sharp blade straight out of the box but it's the handle that I love as it fits well in my hand but if you have very large hands you may have a problem but otherwise a great knife from cold steel & Again fast delivery from the great HH.
