Cold steel mini tac bowie

I attached sheath with ranger bands to belt - scout carry mode. The handle shape is a compromise - flat/short, suboptimal. Discreet and easy to wear under shirt or jacket. My first Bowie, still adjusting to the blade form. Fast dispatch by HH.

Slim and compact

I purchased for it's small length and slim profile, after careful consideration of a variety of similar sized blades. Also the most cost effective for me. The sheath has holes to allow for a variety of mounting positions. I wanted it to attach to my rucksack hip belt on the webbing, it fits no problem horizontally without getting in the way ready for emergency access. The handle is shaped to allow a secure grip and it can be easily drawn. Fits snug and secure in the sheath, no concerns that will drop out. The Blade was razor sharp out of the box. Great service as usual from the Hennie team.

Awesome budget back up. Get the small cold steel C clip for scout carry, the slim design will tuck away nicely under your shirt with quick and easy access.

This is a decent neck knife, with a quick strop it was razor sharp. Sheath pretty good and retention very solid. The reason I'm not giving it a higher rating is because the tip is ridiculously thin, I'm talking like a pin. I don't think the tip would survive much hard use tasks.

If your in the market for a good, inexpensive small knife buy this. Secure -Ex sheath performs as advertised. Very secure but easy to draw. Sharp OTB etc, etc, etc. Also a good addition to a mess tin sized survival kit methinks.
