The Cold Steel Counter Point XL is a high end, large folder. The spear point blade has a distinctively pronounced false edge and a lustrous satin finish, combining to make a blade that not only looks great, but delivers a show stopping performance!

Made from Japanese AUS10A Steel, the Counter Point XL is highly corrosion and stain resistant and takes a very sharp and durable edge. The Counter Points handle is made from Griv-Ex and reinforced with heat treated aluminium liners, making it very strong. For added strength and safety, Cold Steel equipped the Counter Point with their famous Tri-Ad locking mechanism, proven again and again to be incredibly strong and shock resistant.

Usual blend of cold steel XL pocket sword qualities.. Good blade steel, great handle, milled out liners, tri-ad lock etc. Like the Ti-lite XL, this is styled to resemble a giant stiletto but is much better.. Highly recommended. NB, if u are considering buying it, make sure u get it from Heinnie 's or you'll pay a lot more, yeah I've done the research.

Excellent knife all round. It's built like a tank, opens and closes smoothly and the blade is very sharp straight out of the box. The lock was a bit stiff at first, but all it took was a little bit of oil and repeated opening and closing and now it's worn in and is much easier to use. Highly recommended!

Excellent blade for the money. Well made. Light weight for the size and twinned with that triad lock you know you have reliability.

I decided to upgrade my package opening go to lock knife with something slightly more higher end, durable and bigger - the Counter Point XL from Cold Steel did not disappoint. The blade is solid and sharp right out of the box, the handle has a comfortable grip and the tri-ad locking mechanism is bullet proof. Definitely recommend if you can get hold of one.
