The CJRB Mini Pyrite: A Collector's EDC Knife That Defines Excellence
The more compact version of its big brother, the Mini Pyrite is a pocket knife powerhouse! With a pronounced, practical Wharncliffe blade it presents plenty of edge for so many tasks that belies its size. A large cut out allows easy one handed opening even for larger hands and the button lock mechanism securely fastens the blade open. Made from RPM9 Powder stainless steel it has edge retention and strength that many steels can only dream of.
The handle is aluminium in a choice of black or OD green with a lanyard hole highlighted by a coloured ring. A pocket clip is also attached.

As the header says, this is one little blade that punches way above its weight class. Absolutely tiny but has a wicked razor of a wharncliffe blade on it, reverse flicking makes it fly open with a very noisy thwack and the lock up and release action is amazing. Got this as a valentines day gift for my girlfriend and she loves it, a wee bit small for me personally, I dont live in the UK right now, so am not subjected to cuckolded knife laws. HH please bring in more of these as they are at a nice neat little price point, and there are tons of variants, making them ideal to collect aka blow more money on the hobby. Blue carbon fibre handle ones please! Love it anyhow, highly recommend although I will stress again, it really is tiny. Came shaving sharp out of the box, very stainless and corrosion resistant proprietary steel by cjrb which is really the most important thing for me due to where I live. Aluminium handles are a little slick, another thing to take note of. Love it anyhow!
Ordered Wed and delivered Thu. Usual ***** service from HH. Fiddle factor on this is off the charts, easy open and close with the button lock. Excellent build and ergonomics, very sharp out of the box and a zip pouch as well. Just a shame it’s not a UK detent lock, HH have a word with CJRB and see if they will build you one.
