Made from 100% nylon yarn, this black netcoat treated twine is resistant to abrasion, oil, gasoline, mildew, rot, marine growth and most chemicals.

How it's made: The formulas used to braid this twine have been developed to give just the right braid.

Nice and strong - bit smelly so be warned

Strong, grippy and ideal for lashings, bindings and knots. If this is going to form part of your EDC, then consider storing it in a sandwich bag as the tar might prove a bit to strong smelling.

After seeing a lot of videos using bankline I thought I would order some to see what its like, Nice braided cord tar smell, seems quite strong About 1.1 mm thick, im sure it will be useful Small hank can be carried easily with less bulk than paracord

feels good, strong, and weatherproof. seems approx 1.5mm thick, although measures at 1.1mm.

I have not tried others for comparison. I googled and you tubed Bank line and noted all the points to look for re- quality before buying. IMHO Catahoula passes all the tests of the more expensive ones at a fraction of the price. Strong, evenly coated, not too sticky, stiff, holds knots etc.

purchased this along with a spool of #36 and i i find it's the real deal. A well manufactured & quality product . Reccomended !
