This time it came to Scotland with me and gralloched 5 deer (4 reds and 1 roe). 2 reds were gralloched without time to touch up the edge in between in the morning, then 2 in the afternoon. After each session the edge was still shaving sharp and returning it to full sharpness takes minutes only. This knife has a great handle, steel and sheath. Possibly the best in my collection.
Purchased July 2024. Well made knife with a contoured handle, very comfortable in my smallish hand. Be aware that the picture here may not reflect the actual handle you receive. Mine was much paler (golden) than shown. Very well made sheath. Very happy with the purchase
I have had this knife for years (bought elsewhere -sorry Richard) in Sandvik 14C28N witch a stabilised curly birch handle. The handle shape is possible the best for my hand ever. It is beautifully balanced and handles asif it is a part of my own anatomy. The leather sheath is very well made. I cannot recommend this knife highly enough.
